1st Year Representative Job Description

1ST YEAR REPRESENTATIVE

MANDATE: To represent the first year class on the council.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Act as the first year class representative.
• Sit as a voting member of the council.
• Sit as a voting member on the Chapel Planning Committee.
• Work in conjunction with Council and the University
concerning events and concerns for students in their first year.
• Propose a budget regarding activities for students in their first
year to the Social Manager, if feasible and desired.

APPOINTMENT: The individual will be elected by members of Student Body who
are in their first year of study at ABU. The election will be in late
September. Grade Point Average Requirement of 1.67.
