Yearbook Editor Job Description

YEARBOOK EDITOR

MANDATE: To coordinate the production of a yearbook, or other keepsake.

RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Upon hiring, recommend to the Communication Manager the
proposed medium of the next year’s Yearbook. ie. yearbook,
DVD, etc.
• In cooperation with the Communications Manager, select
and/or hire staff members such as layout editors,
photographers, advertisement sales representative, and any
other staff required to perform needed tasks.
• Ensure that deadlines are met and that the Yearbook is
finished and returned to the university by early April.
• Ensure that all facets of the university are included in the
Yearbook. This includes significant events, all teams, and
both on-campus and off-campus students
• Meet with the Communications Manager at least monthly.

• Detail-Oriented
• GPA Requirement of 1.67

APPOINTMENT: Hired by the Communications Manager of the ABUSA, in
consultation with the ABUSA Executive.
